ChatGPT Integration with InsideSpin

As a validation of AI-augmented article writing, InsideSpin has integrated ChatGPT to help flesh out unfinished articles at the moment they are requested. If you have been a past InsideSpin user, you may have noticed not all articles are fully fleshed out. While every article has a summary, only about half are fleshed out. Decisions about what to finish has been based on user interest over the years. With this POC, ChatGPT will use the InsideSpin article summary as the basis of the prompt, and return an expanded article adding insight from its underlying model. The instances are being stored for later analysis to choose one that best represents the intent of InsideSpin which the author can work with to finalize. This is a trial of an AI-augmented approach. Email founder@insidespin.com to share your views on this or ask questions about the implementation.

Consulting Services

An opportunity for additional revenues -- not really. An opportunity to generate more product sales, for sure. Unless you are in the services business, consulting around your product family tends to be a necessary evil to secure key customers, especially when just starting out. Over time you should see an ecosystem of service partners develop that are more than happy to provide the consulting services for your product family -- let it happen. If it does not happen, you should question the size of your market. Few product companies successfully build large and meaningful service practices to go with it (of course, it may be something that your product needs and only you can do it, so it can happen). It's still a services business and it should generate revenue if you dabble in this area at all - nothing for free. They are often perceived as a necessary component to support product sales, especially in the initial stages of a company’s development. Conclusion

By understanding the importance of these services, building a supportive ecosystem, and adhering to best practices, entrepreneurs can not only enhance their product offerings but also create lasting relationships with their customers. As you embark on this journey, remember that while the core of your business may be technology, the human element through consulting services can be equally vital to your success.

In conclusion, consulting services should not be viewed merely as an obligation but as an opportunity to elevate your business in a competitive market. Embrace this necessary component, and you may find that it becomes a significant part of your overall strategy for growth and sustainability.
